Having a car, whether your own or a hire car, is highly recommended if you want to explore Lanzarote freely; there are also buses and taxis linking Costa Teguise with Arrecife and the island's main areas. Lanzarote lets you combine relaxation, the sea, good food, sport, culture and volcanic landscapes, whatever your way of travelling and of enjoying the island. Miranda al Mar is an excellent base for discovering the island at your own pace and enjoying everything Lanzarote has to offer.
